These paints emit VOCs days or even weeks after application, and they emit CO2 indefinitely. In order to seal the surface for durability, these paints use plastic synthetic polymers which have been linked to a variety of health concerns.
Another common issue for homeowners using acrylic and latex paints is that they are high maintenance and will weather quickly on your home's exterior. These paints have a 5-10 year lifespan and require frequent maintenance throughout.
Our purpose is to help families reconnect with cherished memories by restoring the spaces where they were made. We cannot deliver on this promise without careful consideration into how, and what we do to get there. We chose to exclusively use mineral paints. Mineral paints are toxin-free and posses none of the chemicals on the Declare Red List, meeting the highest standard in material health.
In mineral paints, the potassium silicstes micro-crystalize onto exterior surfaces which allows moisture to release. This means that the paint will not bubble or peel overtime. We warranty our work for 20 years, but mineral paint will last a lifetime and will require little to no maintenance.
